Strangely, golf car manufactures do not provide weather protection for the occupants. (see right)

It leaves the factory as an open vehicle. As an option they will supply a windshield and roof.

Users wanted to have weather protection.  The Stitching Industry spotted an opportunity and began offering enclosures made from fabric.  These have become the standard weather enclosure for Golf Cars.  By the type of construction access doors consist of flaps secured by 2 long zips, which require rolling up and strapping when open.

While low cost, they are most inconvenient to operate and spoil the appearance of a beautifully engineered vehicle (below) and should not be compared with MEE.
